Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will receive a warm welcome and be transferred to your hotel to check in. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace.
The post-colonial city of Hanoi is a unique Asian destination, featuring tree-lined boulevards, French colonial buildings, numerous lakes, pagodas, and temples. This full-day tour showcases Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, as well as the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, you'll visit Hoan Kiem Lake and take a one-hour cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. The tour concludes with a performance of the traditional Water Puppet show. After the tour, you'll transfer to the Hanoi Railway Station to begin your adventure trip to Sapa, traveling by overnight train to the border town of Lao Cai. Meals include breakfast and lunch. You'll arrive at the Lao Cai train station around 6:00 a.m., and a vehicle will be waiting to take you to the charming town of Sapa, just a 33 km, 1-hour drive away. Once in Sapa, you'll start your day with a delightful breakfast at a local restaurant before setting out to explore the nearby valley and visit the hill tribe villages of the Cat Cat, home to the H'mong minority people. As you make your way to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, you'll have the chance to interact with some of the local minority residents going about their daily lives. This will allow you to immerse yourself in the rich cultural experiences the area has to offer. Your day in Sapa will conclude with an overnight stay.

Travel to the vibrant Bac Ha market, home to a diverse array of hill-tribe communities. This is the most vibrant market in Northern Vietnam. At the market, you'll have the opportunity to savor the simple yet unique cuisine of the Bac Ha people, including special wines crafted from rice, cassava, corn, and an assortment of fruits such as plums, apples, and peaches. Interact with the local minorities through your guide's interpretation. Afterward, return to Lao Cai and board the night train to Hanoi.

After arriving at the Ha Noi Railway Station, we'll transfer to a local restaurant for breakfast before departing for the picturesque Ha Long Bay, where we'll journey through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Ha Long Bay is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive natural sights. As we leave the town, we'll board a boat to explore the legendary Ha Long Bay. This exciting five-hour cruise will provide us with a fantastic view of the beautiful scenery, where the sky blends with the clear, emerald waters and thousands of limestone islands rise remarkably from the surface. The limestone karst formations are dotted with beaches, grottoes, and stunning caves. Along the way, we'll have the opportunity to anchor and enjoy a leisurely swim in a secluded cove, as well as an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. We'll stay overnight on a Junk Cruise.
Begin your day with a peaceful Tai Chi session on the Sundeck, complemented by complimentary tea and coffee. Enjoy a delightful breakfast served on board. Continue your journey by cruising around the picturesque bay. Disembark in Ha Long City around noon and then travel directly to Hanoi airport for a short flight to Hue. In the morning we set out on a journey to the captivating World Heritage site of My Son, located 40 kilometers southwest of Hoi An. This ancient capital and religious center of the Cham people now showcases impressive red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son is widely regarded as one of Southeast Asia's premier archaeological treasures, standing alongside other renowned sites like Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand, and Borobudur in Indonesia. These architectural marvels were constructed between the 7th and 13th centuries.
Afterward, return to the charming historic town of Hoi An for a walking tour through the narrow, winding streets of the Ancient Quarter. Explore the Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the iconic Japanese Bridge. Once the tour concludes, enjoy free time to shop or simply relax.

After departing Hoi An, you will travel to Da Nang Airport and take a one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, visiting the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and the lively Ben Thanh Market. You will spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

This morning, you'll visit the Cao Dai Temples in Tay Ninh. The Cao Dai Holy See Temple is the central place of worship for the Cao Dai religion, home to the Divine Eye, the faith's official symbol. Cao Dai followers embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ, Confucius, Taoism, and Buddhism. You'll have the opportunity to observe the midday service.
After lunch, you'll explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an expansive network of over 200 km of underground passageways. This intricate system includes countless branches leading to hidden shelters, hideouts, and access points to other tunnels. The tunnels housed a wide range of facilities, from living quarters and storage areas to weapons factories and field hospitals. Today, the remaining tunnels have become a popular tourist destination, allowing visitors to experience what life was like underground during the U.S.-Vietnam War. You'll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

You will depart HCMC for the lush town of My Tho, where you'll embark on a private boat cruise through the verdant canals.
