Guests will be greeted warmly at Kathmandu airport and provided with a Rudraksha garland. They will then be transported to a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu, where they will have accommodations on a twin-sharing basis. The meal provided will be a vegetarian buffet dinner. The hotel's elevation is 1,400 meters. Visitors can obtain a Nepal visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, which costs approximately $35 in cash. They will need to bring their original passport, as this is required for the Tibet visa process.
Kathmandu is a naturally bowl-shaped mountain valley and an ancient city of civilization. Culturally, it boasts seven UNESCO World Heritage sites and thousands of Hindu temples, including the famous Pashupatinath Temple, within the Kathmandu valley.
The sightseeing itinerary starts at 7 AM with visits to Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan Temple-Budhanilkantha, and Guheshwori Temple. After dinner, there will be a short briefing about the upcoming Kailash Manasarovar Yatra and final preparations for the journey.
The accommodation will be at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu on a twin-sharing basis, and the meals will be vegetarian buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The elevation of the sightseeing area is 1400 meters, and the total sightseeing time is approximately 4 hours.
In addition to preparations and shopping, there are various extra sightseeing opportunities, including visits to the Swayambhunath Stupa, Chandragiri Hills accessible by cable car, Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Doleshwor Mahadev Temple, and the Tallest Mahadev statue.
After the morning meal, our sacred pilgrimage Yatra commences with a Swasti Vachan ritual, setting the stage for a blissful journey ahead. We then continue our drive to the destinations of Syabrubesi or Timure. Transportation will be provided by a mountain bus.
Accommodations are available at the Tourist Hotel in Timure or Syabrubesi, with the option to share rooms among 2 to 4 people. Meals consist of a vegetarian buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The overnight stay is at an elevation of 2000 meters. The distance to travel is 165 km, which takes approximately 7 hours by bus.
After breakfast, take a short walk to Rasuwa Gadhi. Once you've completed the immigration and customs formalities on the Nepal-Tibet side, continue the drive to the small city of Kyirong.
Kyirong is a beautiful place surrounded by the Great Himalayas, where you can visit temples, enjoy shopping, and try local Chinese cuisine. High-altitude acclimatization begins in Kyirong. Everyone must acclimate to the climatic conditions, so take a short walk around and start taking Diamox tablets, which will help during the trip.
Transportation is by bus. Accommodation is at a standard hotel in Kyirong, on a twin-sharing basis. Meals are a vegetarian buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, prepared in the hotel kitchen.

After breakfast, embark on a drive to Saga, passing through Ghungta Na-La and offering views of old monasteries, a beautiful waterfall, a river, and a dense alpine forest. Along the way, catch a glimpse of the holy Brahmaputra River. Accommodation will be at a 2- to 3-star hotel in Saga, with 2-4 people sharing a room. Meals will consist of a vegetarian buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The maximum elevation reached during the journey is 5,236 meters. The overnight stop will be at an elevation of 4,500 meters, and the total distance covered will be 169 km, with a driving time of 4 hours.
Following breakfast, the journey progresses towards the revered Lake Mansarovar. It is a highly auspicious occasion for all, as they will be granted their first glimpse of the sacred Lake Mansarovar and the majestic Mount Kailash from Horchow. After completing the local immigration formalities, the drive continues, allowing for the completion of the circumambulation of Lake Mansarovar by vehicle. Along the way, a picturesque location is identified to capture memorable group photographs of Kailash, Mansarovar, and Rakshas Lake. This is the moment that all have eagerly anticipated - the breathtaking view of Manasarovar and the magnificent expanse of the celestial landscape, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

It's a highly auspicious day for all pilgrims. Being in the divine abode itself is a remarkable achievement. Visitors can bathe in the sacred waters of Lake Sarovar, followed by rituals such as puja, havan, meditation, and other spiritual activities. After lunch, the journey continues to Darchen.
Accommodation will be provided at a standard hotel in Darchen, on a twin-sharing basis. The destination is situated at an elevation of 4700 meters, located 40 kilometers away, with a driving time of approximately 1 hour.
After breakfast, the group will take a short drive to Yamadwar, the starting point for the Kailash Parikrama. Upon arriving at Yamadwar, all the pilgrims begin their first day's trek towards Diraphuk, either by walking or hiring horses and porters to carry their backpacks. Along the way, they can enjoy the serene natural surroundings, with the soothing sounds of the nearby river and the view of Nandi Kailash. From Diraphuk, they will have the opportunity to witness the stunning north face of Mount Kailash. Witnessing the first rays of the sun on Mount Kailash in the early morning is a truly spectacular and visually captivating experience, so this chance should not be missed.
Those pilgrims who are not participating in the Parikrama will have the darshan at Yamadwar and then return to Darchen, where they will stay until the Parikrama pilgrims return.
The accommodation at Diraphuk is in a guest house, with dormitory-style sharing. The trek from Yamadwar to Diraphuk covers a distance of 12 km, with an elevation of 5000 meters, and the expected walking time is 4-6 hours.
On the second day of the Kailash Parikrama, you'll start your day early with a very light breakfast before continuing the trek from DiraPuk to the Dolma La pass and then on to Zuthulphuk. This day is widely regarded as the most significant and challenging part of the entire journey, covering a distance of 22 km. The trek involves a steep 6-7 km climb to the Dolma La High pass at an elevation of 5,620 meters, followed by a steep descent into the next flat valley via Gaurikund.
After that, you'll walk for another 3-4 hours to reach Zuthulphuk. Even those who hired horses must make the steep ascent to the Dolma La pass and the subsequent descent towards Gaurikund. Once you've completed this most arduous part of the trek, you'll find local tea stalls where you can stop for a hot cup of tea or noodles, take a brief rest, and then continue your journey towards Zuthulphuk. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to see the East face of Mount Kailash.
Accommodation is provided at the Zuthulphuk Guest House, with dormitory-style sharing. The meals served are vegetarian, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The maximum elevation reached during this stage is 5,620 meters. The overnight stay is at an elevation of 4,790 meters, and the total distance covered is 22 kilometers, which requires approximately 10 hours of walking.
Today marks the final day of your trekking journey. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy tea, coffee, or cookies before embarking on your approximately 7 km trek, which should take around 2 hours to complete. Once you reach the endpoint, a bus will be waiting to transport you to Darchen, where you will reunite with the other members of your group. After breakfast, you will begin the return journey to Saga, carrying with you a lifetime of wonderful memories and blissful experiences.
Accommodation will be in a standard hotel in Saga, with 2-4 people sharing a room. Meals will consist of a vegetarian buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The overnight stay will be at an elevation of 4500 meters. The total walking distance is 7 km, which should take 2 hours, followed by a 7-hour drive covering 500 km.
Following breakfast, return to the Kyirong or Timure border crossing. Accommodation will be at a standard hotel in Kyirong or Timure, with twin-sharing rooms. The overnight stay will be at an elevation of 2700 meters, covering a distance of 169 km over a 4-hour drive.
After breakfast, drive back to the border and complete the immigration and customs formalities at Rasuwa Gadhi. Then, take a short walk to our hotel in Timure. After lunch, drive to Kathmandu. Accommodation will be at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu on a twin-sharing basis. Transportation will be by bus. The elevation is 1400 meters, the distance is 165 km, and the drive will take 6-7 hours.
A certificate will be awarded to all pilgrims who successfully complete the Mt. Kailash Parikrama, organized by the tour provider. Following the trek, you will be transferred to the airport or your onward destination. The meal plan includes only a vegetarian breakfast.

Visitors in Tibet are prohibited from taking photographs, making audio recordings, possessing newspapers, engaging in political activities, or anything related to the Dalai Lama. If found doing any of these, the Chinese army will intervene and take legal action on the spot.
