Qutab Minar - The highest monument of India, Qutb Minar is 72.5 m high, tapering from 2.75 m in diameter at its peak, to 14.32 m at its base, and alternating angular and rounded flutings. Morning excursion to Amer Fort - Amber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber, which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur.The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and look even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold but as one looks on the fort with its clear reflection on the lake in the front, one cannot help but wonder if it is a dream or a beautiful illusion.

After breakfast city tour of Srinagar visiting, Shalimar Bagh : Jehangir, the Mughal emperor, for his wife Nur Jahan, planted 15 km from Srinagar, Shalimar Bagh in 1616. Shaded by magnificent chinar trees, the Shalimar, is a series of stone pavilions and flowing water, with paint box bright flowerbeds. Nishat Bagh : Sandwiched between the lake and the mountains, Nishat Bagh has a superb view across the lake to the Pir Panjal Mountains. This is the largest of the Moghul gardens. It encircles the Dal and was built by Empress Nur Jahan's brother Asaf Khan. It has several terraces, a central watercourse and a majestic site between the Dal and the Zabarwan hills. Shankaracharya Temple : It is located at 1100ft.above surface level of the main city, on the Shankaracharya hill, also known as Takht-e-Suleiman. The Shiva temple, as Kalhana believes, was constructed by Raja Gopadatya in 371 BC and as such, is the oldest shrine in Kashmir. Dogra ruler, Maharaja Gulab Singh, constructed stone stairs upped the temple. In 1925,the temple was electrified. The temple, besides a prominent religious place of Hindus, is of great archaeological importance. The temple commands a magnificent panoramic view of the city of Srinagar.
